  2. Best wishes in making yourselves comfortable in your new home. As a sign of good luck, a new baby elephant was born here at the Lowery Park Zoo in Tampa this week. Her mom is a refugee from Swaziland and both are doing well. Ruth

  3. It's Melissa Scher, Spencer's Mom in Kansas City. Just returned from visiting your lovely Denver home. All is well there and Spencer is adjusting to taking care of your place and enjoying his hikes, runs in the park, being close to work, a successful Level I CFA exam and a new car! Enjoyed seeing my daughter, Kate, in Boulder as well. I so admire your work in Swaziland and always look forward to updates on your blog. Best wishes. Melissa

  4. Hello,
My name is Diana, and I'm a student at Waterford Kamhlaba in Mbabane. I'm working with a student group at the school that is trying to get involved in stopping human-trafficking here in Swaziland. We were just wondering if you had any contacts, or know of any ways that a group of 6-7 teenagers would be able to volunteer/help in any related areas. If you would email us at waterfordaht@gmail.com, that would be absolutely wonderful!
    Siyanibonga,
    Diana

  5. Mark and Katherine:
John Beattie, God bless him, remembered your 40th wedding anniversary, so congratulations and much joy to you. We are all richer for who you are, the love you share, and what you do. Wish you much joy and love for many years to come. God bless you. Cheers, Charly

  6. Hi Mark and Katherine,

I'm an editor at World Trade Press, a company that creates educational and travel websites. We are currently gathering proverbs from around the world. We want to add Swazi proverbs in English and siSwati, with the translation and meaning of each. We were wondering if you would like to write 20 Swazi proverbs for us. We can pay you by the word, offer author attribution, link to your website, and provide you a free one-year subscription to our website. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Regards,
    Hope
